Yes, a PCR test can indicate a positive test result up to 8 weeks after you have recovered. Be particularly aware of this when travelling.

Unfortunately, we are unable to give you any exacts response as it depends on which country you are travelling to and which airline company you travel with. Therefore, check carefully what certificates you need before departure.

No, from 16th of June 2021 free testing is not provided anymore.

Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on the requirements of the country you are going to and the airline you are travelling with. Usually, an antigen test or PCR is needed, but check the requirements for your particular trip carefully before you get tested.

Yes, you can. When you book, you will receive an email with a link to change the booking yourself. This can be done up to 18 hours in advance. Please note that if you cancel 4-6 hours before your appointment, you will only be refunded 299 SEK. If you cancel within 4 hours of your appointment, there is no refund.

If you know that you are running late, please give us a call and we will call you in as soon as you arrive but be aware that some extra waiting time might occur.

No, we only have online booking. This is because telephone booking requires a lot of manpower that we would rather use to improve our service on site.

Yes, your antigen test can be used to those countries that accept antigen tests. Our tests are approved in the EU and can also be used for entry into Denmark, Germany, and the UK.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you want to get tested to see if you are sick or have been sick, we know what you need. Unfortunately, we can not answer which test you need for your travel, as it varies a lot depending on which country you are going to. Always check with your airline or the authorities in the country you are travelling to.

The antigen test is used to detect if you have an ongoing infection of COVID. It is important to get tested if you feel any symptoms, as it helps prevent further spread of the virus and gives you the opportunity to get professional help if needed.

If your destination allows you to travel with your ID card, absolutely. But you must make sure you have the same passport/ID card you will be travelling with.

Yes, our certificate can be used when travelling and is written in both Swedish and English.

We have this because most countries/airlines that require PCR tests accept our certificate. However, there may be some countries that require it to be signed by a doctor. We have chosen to separate these two to keep the price as low as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

The only difference is that the travel certificate is signed by a doctor and therefore bear an extra cost of 300 SEK. Except from this the certificates are identical, and we provide them both.

It all depends on where you are going. ALWAYS check with both the airline/bus company/ferry company what test they require, and in addition, you also need to check with the countries you are going to and transit through. The regulations change all the time, unfortunately, are we unable to keep fully up to date on all the regulations. See Swedenabroad.

If you book an appointment, you will receive a response approximately 20 minutes after the test has been performed. If you come on a drop-in basis, there can easily be a long wait due to demand. We, therefore, recommend that you book an appointment or arrive in good time on drop-in.

Yes, our certificates have QR codes that can be used to verify that the certificate is authentic.

We offer both options according to your needs. Our secure and efficient QR code-based system automatically sends out a certificate as soon as the results are available.

No, we do not give refunds because NO test is 100% accurate. Unfortunately, we can only report on what the test shows, which is why it is important that you choose to be tested at a site that uses the highest quality tests. Although it is very unlikely that a test will give a false answer, it can unfortunately happen. If you test yourself again with 1177 and get a negative result after our test has shown a positive result, there is also an equal chance that their test has shown a false result.

Yes, there is a difference both in where the sample is taken and also in their accuracy. If you want the most convenient antigen test, you should choose the “Nasal” test. However, you should be aware that it is not as accurate as our other antigen test which has sensitivity: 96.52% specificity: 99.68%. If you choose the Nasal test, there is a higher probability of an incorrect result even if the risk is very low. Therefore, if you want to check if you have an ongoing Covid-19 infection, we do not recommend taking the Nasal test. Please note that we do not retest “for free” in the event of a positive result, and therefore you will need to book a test with 1177 to challenge or deny the test result.

We have a restriction that you can book a minimum of 18 hours in advance and a maximum of 14 days in advance. The reason for this is to prevent faulty bookings in the future, but also because the regulations in the different countries are constantly changing, increasing the risk of booking the wrong test.
